Properties

Chlorella (literally the 'little green leaf') was discovered in the 19th century by Dutch microbiologist MW Beijerinck. It is a very ancient, single-celled, freshwater algae with a bright green colour due to its high chlorophyll content. It is naturally rich in numerous phytonutrients and is an excellent natural source of protein with a balanced amino acid content. Chlorella Raw is derived from 100% organically grown algae grown outdoors in plenty of sunlight. After harvesting, the algae are dehydrated using a superior drying process to maintain their full nutritional value.

How to use

Add Raw Chlorella to smoothies or shakes in combination with fruit (juice) or another superfood, (plant) milk, yogurt or even water. This way you can add a healthy ingredient to all your favorite dishes.
