Properties

Extra premium Matcha is a spring green tea from Japan, with rich fruity flavors and an intense “umami” taste (thanks to theanine). It is produced exclusively from young tea leaves that, according to tradition, are hand-picked in early May (the first harvest) after the bushes have been shaded for 5 weeks.

Preparation mode

To prepare our tea powders according to the traditional method. Boil water (preferably slightly limestone and slightly mineralized). Let the water cool down to about 80°C (for example, by opening the lid of the electric kettle for 10 minutes or pouring it 4-5 times to lower the temperature). Place 1 to 2 g of tea powder (2 bamboo spoons or ½ teaspoon, depending on your preference) in a bowl and cover with water (70-100 ml). Blend the tea for about 15 seconds using the small bamboo whisk until you get a nice frothy mixture. There are other ways to enjoy our tea powders. For example, try our Matcha pure and “on the rocks” by simply adding iced water. The consumption patterns are as wide as your imagination. So, you can incorporate the tea powder into your favorite smoothie or shake, into hot drinks, when preparing ice cream, sweets, gourmet dishes and even as a spice!
